MSP Revolution
By all accounts, day one of MSPRevolution exceeded everyone's expectations. Our good friend Karl Palachuk does a great job of summing up the general feedback regarding the unique business simulation game conducted yesterday by Andromeda Training in his blog post here.
My keynote on Maximizing Service Delivery Revenues During Economic Downturns last night was a lively session, with plenty of interaction and questions – polling during this session reveals that most attendees to this event are delivering some form of Managed Services, with the balance split pretty equally between Break-Fix and Professional Service Providers. They are all getting a great education here in Chicago this weekend, and today is focused on training sessions, with the following topics and speakers:
- Winning Managed Services Opportunities based on IPED best practices - Jim Hamilton, MSP Partners
- Defining Your Managed Services Offerings - Ron Cook, Xilocore
- Pricing Your Managed Services Offerings - Ramsey Dellinger, MSP On Demand
- Developing Your Contracts & Service Level Agreements - Karl Palachuk, KP Enterprises
- Marketing Your Managed Services - Erick Simpson, MSP University
- Building a Profitable Service & Help Desk - Amy Luby & Chad Gross, MSPSN
One last item – please help me in wishing our friend Dave Sobel a happy birthday - he aged again yesterday!
